Virginia Mae Boozer

Mrs. Virginia Mae Boozer, age 77 of Griffin, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Boozer was born January 14, 1941 in Chicago, IL to the late Chester & Augusta Lewis. She was a member of Eagles Way Church. Mrs. Boozer was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Boozer. Survivors include her children & their spouses, LaVonne & Calvin Booker, Vicki Hickman and Amy & Thomas Slagle; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Chester Lewis & James Hetzel and sister, Janet Decker. A memorial service for Mrs. Virginia Mae Boozer will be held Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Eagles Way Church. Friends may visit the family 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
