Thomas Michael Goolsby

Thomas Michael Goolsby, 49, of Griffin died Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Born in Griffin, March 26, 1972, he was a son of the late Tommy Gene and Joyce Marie Blair Goolsby. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to camp and fish. Mr. Goolsby was a people person and a night owl and loved calling to have late nigh conversations with family and friends. He was an avid Mortal Combat gamer and Georgia Bulldogs fan. In addition to his parents Mr. Goolsby was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Michael Goolsby. Survivors include a daughter, Jessica Lauren Goolsby Chaney and husband Kenneth of Griffin; twin sister, Tonya Goolsby Clemons and husband Charlie of Stockbridge; brothers, Wayne Keith Goolsby and wife Maria of Costa Rica, Donnie Goolsby and wife Amy of Griffin, Danny Goolsby of Thomaston and Chris Goolsby and wife Wendy of Concord; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
