Lois Aleene Stephenson

Ms. Lois Aleene Stephenson, age 86, of Conyers passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Brightmoor Hospice in Conyers. Ms. Stephenson was born October 3, 1938 in Stone Mountain, Ga. She was the daughter of the later Charlie Frank Stephenson and Annie Maude Westmorland Stephenson. Ms. Stephenson worked as an operator for Bell South in her early work career and later became a caregiver. She loved to take care of people, loved to cook, and really enjoyed people and laughing with them. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jeff Sullivan; brothers, Billy Stephenson and Frank Stephenson, and sister, Mary Clark. Survivors include children and spouses, Scott and Susan Sullivan, Keith Sullivan, Greg Sullivan, Bobby and Ginger Lucas, Jannine and Billy Johnson, and Danna Lucus; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Benny and Joan Stephenson; sister, Annette Lee; nieces, nephews and other family also survive. Memorial services for Ms. Lois Aleene Stephenson will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends from 3:00 PM until the service hour at the funeral home, Haisten McCullough Funeral Home, 1155 Everee Inn Road, Griffin, Ga. 30224 is in charge of arrangements.
