Mrs. Julie Mae Jackson, age 81 of Conyers, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Jackson was born May 14, 1937. She was a member of Vega Community Church. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Cora Hooper; husband, Albert Jackson and son, Hank Smith. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Robert & Sandy Smith; daughter-in-law, Virginia Smith; step-sons & step-daughters-in-law, John (Kim) Jackson, Lee (Minnie) Jackson; step-daughters, Amanda Yates, Rita Floyd; sister, Ruby Turpin; brother, Billie Hooper; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Nieces & nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Julie Mae Jackson will be held Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Horton officiating. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family 1 hour prior to the service.
