John Thomas Strickland Jr.

Mr. John Thomas Strickland Jr., age 89, of Griffin, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Brightmoor Hospice. Mr. Strickland was born in Griffin, Ga. on July 21, 1934. He was the son of the late JohnThomas Strickland Sr. and Maude Thomas Strickland. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the former Teamon Road Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Pat Stickland, daughters and son-in-law, Sherri and Eric Mullis and Beckie Beam; grandchildren, Jonathon and Katlyn Keene, Nicholas and Hannah Keene, Matthew and Chrystina Mullis, Melody and Chirs Russell; great-grandchildren, Maverick Mullis, Kannon Keene, Kinsley Keene, Dallas Mullis, and Lincoln Russell; nieces and nephews also survivors. Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 2:00Pm in Westwood Gardens. Rev. Tim Butler will officiate. All friends and relatives are asked to assemble at the graveside. Haisten McCullough Funeral Home, 1155 Everee Inn Road, Griffin, Ga. 30224 is in charge of arrangements.
