Janie Sue Taylor Stewart

Janie Sue Taylor Stewart, 77, of Williamson, died Friday, June 26, 2026, at Upson Regional Medical Center. Born in Griffin, February 6, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Emmett Taylor and Pauline Ivy Taylor. Mrs. Stewart retired after forty years of service as a cosmetologist, formerly owning her own Beauty Salon. She was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved gardening. Most of all she loved her family dearly. In addition to her parents Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by brothers, Winford and Donald Taylor and a sister, Barbara Hammond. Surviving are her sons, Jason Scott and wife Brandy of Williamson and Jody Scott and wife Misty of Jackson; grandchildren, Lindsey, Logan and Graysen Scott; brother, Ricky Taylor and wife Sarah of Griffin; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and beloved fur baby, Bailey.
