James Ray Lester

Mr. James Ray Lester, age 48, of Conley, Ga. passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Spalding Regional Medical Center. Mr. Lester was born September 24, 1971 in East Point, Ga. He was the son of James Starlen Lester and the late Sharon Lee Baldwin Lester. Mr. Lester loved his family, friends and loved to fish. He will be always remembered as a kind, loving, and very polite man. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Lee Mayo Carroll; father, James Starlen Lester, brother and sister-in-law, Joey and Angela Lester; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Roger Cannon; niece, Sarah Wilkins; nephews, Roger Cannon Jr., Alan Cannon, and Thomas Cannon; special friends, Jimmy Dale Young, Shannon Burnham, and Shirley Young. A private family service will be held. Haisten McCullough Funeral Home, 1155 Everee Inn Road, Griffin, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
