Ira Anthony Rouse

Ira Anthony Rouse, 74, of Griffin, husband of Pamela Renee Ross Rouse, died Thursday, June 25, 2026, at his home. Born in Little Rock, AR, October 2, 1951, he was a son of the late Lois Edward and Cozella Harrison Rouse. A graduate of Wabash College, he was a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Mr. Rouse enjoyed shooting pool, bowling, playing cards and dominos and mostly spending time with friends. Mr. Rouse attended Heavenly Way Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory Rouse; and sister, Vicki Blade. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Traci Rouse; stepdaughter, Chantell Ross; grandchildren, Nathaniel Stewart and Brandon Rouse; two great grandchildren, Emmanuel Rouse and Inara Rouse; brother-in-law, Derrick Ross; sister-in-law, Sharon Graydon and husband Charles; several nieces and nephews; A memorial service will be conducted Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Williams officiating.
