Gloria Mae Sherman

Gloria Mae Sherman born in Hancock Maine on April 14, 1937, passed away May 10th surrounded by her family. Mrs. Sherman is preceded in death by her mother Bessie L. Martin, stepfather Bert Spencer Sr., and father Arnold Moon, her brother’s Bert Spencer Jr. and Richard Spencer, two baby boys; Brucie and Stephen and her daughter Debra Dunn. Mrs. Sherman was a lady of faith and attended a Baptist church until she was no longer able. She was a hard worker and very proud of going to Southern Crescent where she became a Certified Nursing Assistant. She worked in the textile industry but her compassion and care for people is what she enjoyed most. She loved flowers, traveling and autumn but her true love was her children. Mrs. Sherman was loved by everyone and is survived by her husband Wyman Sherman, son Michael Wilson and wife Betty, daughters, Lisa D. Wilson, Cathy M. Pryor, Lori Davis and husband Steve, Sharon Wilson, Angela R. Bagwell and husband Robert and stepson Patrick. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to her granddaughter Jessica, caregiver Devon and Brightmoor Hospice.
