Glenda Wallace Wilson

Glenda Wallace Wilson, 73, of Fayetteville, wife of David Thomas Wilson, died Friday, September 22, 2023, at her home. Born in Atlanta, September 23, 1949, she was a daughter of the late William Glen and Doris Ann Strawn Wallace. Glenda helped and loved everybody. She lived for her family, and she even worked for the Pike County School System as a lunch lady so she could be at school with her grandson Matthew. She made sure he was picked up from school every day and he got home safely. Surviving in addition to her husband of fifty-four years of the home are a daughter, Rhonda Wilson Hambrick and husband Billy; grandson Matthew David Hambrick, all of Fayetteville; brother, William Glen Wallace, Jr. and wife Patty of Newnan; sister, Teresa Sitts and husband Russell of Griffin; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Glenda Wallace Wilson will be conducted Sunday, September 24, 2023, from the Chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home with John Martin officiating. Private burial will be in Westwood Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until the service hour at the funeral home.
