Mrs Frances Mitcham Stell

Mrs. Frances M. Stell, age 96, of Blairsville, GA., former lifelong resident of Hampton,GA., passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018. Mrs. Stell was born on September 12, 1922 in Hampton, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Frank Arnold and Rachel Byrd Mitcham. Mrs. Stell was a teacher with the Henry County School System for over 31 years. She enjoyed painting, flower gardening and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Hampton United Methodist Church. Mrs. Stell was preceded in death by her husband, Walter McCollum Stell and her sister, Betty Cain. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Henry Nutt of Blairsville, GA.; grandchildren Mitch and Johanna Nutt of Macon, Ga., Anna and Andy Hochadel of Woodstock, GA.; great-grandchildren, Paton and Cameron Nutt; nieces, Betsy Cain Jones and Bonnie Cain Brown. Funeral services for Mrs. Frances M. Stell will be held on Saturday, November, 24, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Pastor Keith Colter will officiate. Burial will follow in Berea Cemetery in Hampton. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, November 24, 2018 from Noon until the service hour at the funeral home.
