Erick Alva Estrada

Erick Alva Estrada, 54, of Griffin, husband of Edith Alva-Suárez died Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Medical Center. Born in Nezahaucoyotl, Mexico City, Mexico, he was a son of Maria Christina Estrada Hernandez and the late Juan Teodoro Alva Troche. Erick formerly served as an accountant for many years but his loved for building led to him being a carpenter for many years with Builders Specialties, Inc. until his illness. Mr. Estrada was a member of the Suwanee Jehovah’s Witness Spanish Congregation in Suwanee, GA. Survivng in addition to his wife of thirty-three years and his mother are a son, Edgar Alva of Auburn, GA; a daughter, Ericka Coronado of San Angelo, TX; a grandson, David Coronado; three brothers, Juan Jose Alva, Victor Alva and Antonio Alva; three sisters, Aida Alva, Norma Alva and Aurora Alva; and numerous nieces and nephews.
