Donna Sue Cox

Donna Sue Cox, 65, of Griffin, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 12, 2026. Donna was born on October 20, 1960, in Ocoee, Florida, to the late Clyde and James "Jimmy" Young. Donna was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend whose greatest joy in life was her family. She especially cherished her beloved grandchildren, Slater and Sawyer, who brought immeasurable happiness to her life. She also had a special place in her heart for her cats, whom she adored and considered cherished members of her family. Donna will be remembered for her loving heart, and the kindness she shared with those around her. She is survived by her son, Ryan Cox of Griffin, Georgia; her daughter, Catherine Cox of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and Catherine's partner, John Secord Jr.; her beloved grandchildren, Slater and Sawyer Secord; her brother, Ricky Young of Rex, Georgia; and many dear friends and family who will miss her deeply. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Haisten McCullough Funeral Home in Griffin, Georgia.
