Dayna Fenner

The streets of Heaven received one more Angel this week with the passing of Dayna Fenner. Dayna was born in New Orleans, LA to her parents Jack and Patricia. Eight years later she moved to Griffin, GA where she grew up and met her future husband, Stephen Fenner. With him, they had four children, Jesse, Natalie, Stephanie, and Zachary. Life in many ways is like climbing a mountain, with its many achievements, comes it’s many obstacles. Some choose to look at each step as a chore, a task they have to complete, but Dayna saw life for it’s opportunities. She hiked her mountain with a joy to smell each flower along the way, no matter the circumstances. She was always one to enjoy life’s simple moments and look at the world with the eyes of a poet. She is survived by her mother; father; step-father, Al Nixon; her four children; her brother, Scott, and his daughter Madelyn. She will be greatly missed. The funeral service will be at Rock Springs Church, 219 Rock Springs Rd., Milner, GA 30257, 770-229-8663, on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 1 – 2 p.m. at the church.
