David Thomas "Tom" Taylor

David Thomas “Tom” Taylor, 75, of Griffin, died Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Brightmoor Hospice. Born in Atlanta, June 19, 1947, he was a son of the late Lobin Summer Lovelace and Hazel Barron Lovelace. Mr. Taylor was a US Air Force Veteran, having served in the Vietnam War. He was formerly a long-time employee of Owens and Illinois Glass Company and was retired from Security. He was a member of Westside Church of Christ. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Jerome Taylor; and a sister, Carol Williams. Survivors include a daughter, Holly Hardin and husband Darrick of Griffin; grandchildren, Kayla Bartlett and Brandon Hall; brother, Michael Taylor of Warner Robins; and a sister, Lynn Marshall of Huntersville, NC. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery with Minister Nick Adams officiating.
