David Michael Gray

David Michael Gray, 38, of Griffin, died Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Southern Regional Medical Center. Born in Brunswick, GA, September 11, 1984, he was the son of James Thomas Gray and the late Robin Elizabeth Mullen Gray. David attended Georgia Tech and graduated from Gordon College with a bachelor degree in mathematics. He was employed with Yancey/Caterpillar Inc. where he worked as a design engineer. He was very active in sports growing up, soccer being one of his favorites. David was an avid video gamer and loved collecting old gaming stations. He also enjoyed keeping up with new and emerging technologies and watching college football, with Alabama Crimson Tide and GA Tech Yellow Jackets as his favorite teams. Surviving in addition to his father of Griffin are a brother, James Jonathan Gray of Macon; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services for David Michael Gray will be conducted Monday, October 3, 2022 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Gordon Tippen officiating. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 AM until the service hour at the funeral home.
