Danny Elwin Mathis

Mr. Danny Elwin Mathis, age 71, of Griffin, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 at this residence. Mr. Mathis was born on October 10, 1947 in Griffin, Ga. He was the son of the late Joseph and Flossie Womack Mathis. Mr. Mathis retired from Dundee Mills and was a life-long member of the Griffin Fire Baptized Holiness Church. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Brenda Evans Mathis, daughter, Cassandra Leighton; grandson, Colton Tyler Leighton; nieces, nephews, and other family also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Danny Elwin Mathis will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
