James Leonard “Jimmy” Nobles, 61, of Zebulon, husband of Sieglinde “Linda” Eddy Nobles, died Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Born in Bainbridge, August 3, 1960, he was a son of Mary Elaine Hall Jones and the late Leon Chapman Nobles. Mr. Nobles was a graduate of Georgia Academy of the Blind and had attended Georgia Southwestern and Mercer University. He was an avid sportsman and had coached wrestling, football and baseball at Pike County High School. Mr. Nobles was a member of Christ Chapel Community Church. Surviving in addition to his wife of Zebulon and mother of Jackson are a brother, Randy Nobles of Griffin; sister, Tina Simmons and husband David of Jackson; nieces, Casey Lane, Samantha Cohran, Mary Beth Jones and Madison Nobles; 4 great-nieces; and one great-nephew. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Smith officiating.
