Dennis Calvin "Flash" Terrell

Dennis Calvin “Flash” Terrell, 68, of Griffin, husband of Sheena Patrice Prewitt Terrell died Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at his home. Born in Griffin, February 13, 1953, he was a son of the late Calvin Elmo and Winifred Elizabeth Shepherd Terrell. Mr. Terrell was formerly a hair stylist for many years and was formerly employed with California Concepts and Byron Smith. He also formerly owned and operated a construction company, later retiring from the Georgia Experiment Station where he worked in maintenance. Mr. Terrell had attended The Way Ministries. Surviving in addition to his wife of forty years are a daughter, Melinda Chambers and husband Jake of Locust Grove; a son, Jacob Aron Terrell and wife Jenna of Griffin; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Paislee, Eliza and Jonah; a sister, Miriam Maru and husband Bharat of Tampa, FL; mother-in-law, Naomi Olson; and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends also survive. A memorial service for Dennis Calvin “Flash” Terrell will be conducted Friday, September 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home with special friend Mr. Craig Gordy officiating. Friends may visit the family Friday from 1:00 PM until the service hour at the funeral home.
