Corey Brendon Neal Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Corey Brendon Neal, 35, of Covington died June 10, 2019. Born in Marshall, TX, September 14, 1983, he was a son of Roger Terry Neal and Kevin Elaine Hovanec Hawthorne. Corey was an electrician and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by three brothers; Terry Lee Neal, Timothy Patrick Neal and Tony Christopher Neal. Surviving in addition to his mother and stepfather, Jerry of Carthage, TX and his father of Covington are two children; Mckenzie Bartlett and Steven Neal; brothers and sisters; Roger Neal and wife Tina of Marshall, TX, Lynn Stapleton and husband Mark of Zebulon, Kevin Neal and wife Amber of Spring, TX, Amanda Estrada and husband Johnny of Newnan, Kyle Neal and wife Angela of Senoia and Terri Lynn Faber and husband Shane; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. A memorial service will be conducted Friday at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Ray Waters officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 until the service hour and at other times at the home of his sister Lynn Stapleton. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to an addiction recovery center of choice in memory of Corey.
