Anthony Joseph Striner Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Anthony Joseph Striner, 61, of Newnan, husband of Malzie Leigh Cain Striner, died Saturday, April 30, 2022 at his home. Born in Ypsilanti, MI, June 5, 1960, he was a son of the late Anthony and Sara Cass Striner. Mr. Striner grew up in Miami, FL where he was a graduate of Southwest High School. He was a US Navy Veteran where he was an Aircraft Mechanic. He used his skill he obtained to work for Northwest Airlines where he was employed for twenty-one years. He had also worked with United Space Alliance, Gulf Stream and with Northrop Grumman where he was employed for eleven years. He and his wife recently moved to Newnan where he began working with Southwest Airlines as a Maintenance Supervisor in August 2021. Surviving in addition to his wife of thirty years are a son, Joseph Spencer Striner of Newnan; two brothers, John Striner and wife Renee of Leesburg, VA and Matthew Striner and former wife Paula of Stowe, OH; a sister, Maryann Page and husband Burt of Viera, FL; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Sean Cain and Kristie Cain of Jackson; nieces and nephews, Tony Striner, Kevin Striner, Andy Striner, Abby Striner, Allison Page, Mallory Page, Milz Cain and Caroline Cain. Private graveside funeral services will be conducted Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery. There will be a celebration of Mr. Striner’s life at the home, 55 Falls Trace in Newnan Saturday from 2:00PM – 5:00PM.
