Alan Randall "Randy" Karoffa

Alan Randall “Randy” Karoffa, 69, of Griffin, husband of Susan Melody Davis Karoffa died Monday, December 14, 2020 at Spalding Regional Medical Center. Born in Sumter, SC, April 23, 1951, he was a son of USAF MSGT (Ret.) Alex Karoffa and Evelyn Garnette Karoffa. Mr. Karoffa was a US Marine Corps Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He was retired after over twenty-five years of service from the US Postal Service where he served as Supervisor of the Griffin Post Office. He loved spending time with family and was an avid Georgia Bulldogs football fan. Surviving in addition to his wife of forty years and his parents are four children, Wendy Caldwell and husband Scott of Whitesburg, Benjamin Bell and wife Melissa of Locust Grove, Alan Karoffa, Jr. and wife Dianna of Bowling Green, KY and Dustin Karoffa and wife Carolyn of Covington; grandchildren, Dalton Goolsby, Payton Goodwin, Annalie Bell, Olivia Bell, Davis Bell, Hunter Karoffa, Logan Karoffa, Lexie Karoffa, Cody Karoffa, Melanie Karoffa, Landon Karoffa and Emily Whitwell; great-granddaughter, Bella Grace Goolsby; a brother, Alex Karoffa, Jr. and wife Christy of Canton; a sister, Cheryl Stillwell of Lawrenceville; and several nieces and nephews. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic private memorial services will be conducted later.
